What we have here is a great example of a 1957 Ford Thunderbird that is finished in Red with a White hardtop (needs restoration) and which is complemented by a Black and White vinyl interior and Black Vinyl convertible top. This car is part of an estate sale and overall, she is in nice condition, but in need of a little TLC..
This 1957 Ford Thunderbird has 69,453 miles on the odometer and is powered by her 390 CI motor (with less than 1,000 miles on it) which is coupled to her 2 speed automatic (Ford-o-Matic) transmission. The car sounds fantastic, runs and drives well and has just had a complete brake system overhaul. She has power steering and electric seat (which needs work). The paint is a good 10 footer and as you can see from the pictures it looks very attractive. We have the rear wheel skirts which are in great condition (see pictures). The back of the seat has a tear in it from getting in and out of the car. The general condition of the seat and vinyl though is good.
This car was repainted at some point in its past and has some minor spider webbing. The chrome is good as is the trim. The soft top is on the car but needs to be attached to the storage mechanism behind the seat. The car is as solid as a rock; check out the undercarriage no rust (except minor surface) anywhere. She is looking for a new owner and if you fancy a light project then this may be the car for you. This car will not last long as we have priced her to provide you the best deal on a car of this caliber. If you need any assistance with financing please let me know.
